Commonwealth War Grave Commission says he is the son of Alfred Cooper Jenkinson of Princes Street, Dukinfield.

A letter in Private Jenkinson's British Army Service Records states that this is the name of his only child.

Alfred Cooper Jenkinson's Mother had passed away and he was being brought up by his Grandmother Johannah Cooper, 64 Charles Street, Hyde, Cheshire.
