Hyde War Memorial Trust

About This Web Site

This Web Site has been created for Hyde War memorial Trust by Lauren Gradwell and Carl Rogerson.

Lauren is the Trust's Archivist and Researcher.   She maintains a database of information about the 710 men remembered on our War Memorial.   The information has been obtained from public sources and from information and photographs provided by the men's relatves.   More information is always welcome, as are corrections where needed.

The database is held in the form of a speadsheet.   A formula within the spreadsheet automatically creates a web page for each of the 710 men.

Carl Rogerson is responsible for the formula, for the other pages on this web site, and for the layout of the web site.

A number of people gave assistance, advice, information, that helped to make this a better web site.

These include David Cannon, Mike Moffat, Stephen Hodkinson, Ian R Cameron, Andy Kinsey, and the late Ron Husband who created and began to build the database of information about the 710 men.

Apologies to those we have failed to remember.
