Another Hyde Man Dies for his Country
Mrs Taylor, of 30 Bank Street, Hyde, received news on Wednesday evening of the death of her son, Private Bowker Taylor, of the 1st Cheshires. He died in the hospital at Boulogne, France, Feb. 16 last, from shrapnel wound received in the head, on February 8th. He had been in France since January 14. Mrs Taylor has still two other sons at the front so that she certainly contributed her share “for King and Country.“
