Death From Shell Shock
The death has occurred at Macclesfield of Lance-corporal Arthur Walton, formerly of the Shropshire Light Infantry, after a serious illness brought on by shell shock. His home was 31, Union Street, Hyde, and he was thirteen years in the Army, and was called up as a reservist when war broke out. He was discharged as time expired on February 11. He was a greengrocer at Shudehill market, Manchester.
